4. Am Phu Cave, Da Nang

Situated in Da Nang in the Marble Mountains, this hellish large cave is a re-creation of a Buddhist hell. A unique and different experience from the usual temple you’ll find in Vietnam. Walk through an underworld full of demons and other scary characters. Opened to visitors in 2006, the pitch black tunnels and beams of light from above really enhance the frightening figures.

During the American War, the Hospital Cave served as a secret hospital for Viet Cong leaders. Originally built between 1963 and 1965, the cave is located around 10km from Cat Ba town in northern Vietnam.
7. Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Hanoi

In August 1975, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum was created to house the Vietnamese president Ho Chi Minh. Since then, the body has been perfectly preserved. The final resting place of Vietnam’s revolutionary leader is also known as Ba Dinh Mausoleum and is open to the public.
