How to apply
Applying Vietnam visa online (Vietnam e-visa) for citizens of Brazil

Are you looking for an exciting and tropical destination where you can go hiking, trekking, swim in crystal clear water, laze around by the beach all day long, cruise around in one of the seven natural wonders of the world and go on a shopping spree in one of the most incredible capital cities in Asia? Then you must book your trip to Vietnam as soon as possible! This Southeast Asian country is home to some wonderful beaches, underground caves which you can explore, UNESCO World Heritage sites, and much, much more. Not only is it one of the most beautiful countries to travel around in, it’s also one of the most diverse. There’s so much to see here and do that you’ll want to stay here for a longer time.

Most people stay at least for one month in order to go from north to south, or the other way around. If you don’t have the time, don’t worry! There’s always a reason to come back to Vietnam. Some of the reasons why so many people love Vietnam is because of its affordability, the food (it really is one of the best), the landscapes, people and the culture. Vietnam has something to offer for everyone. You won’t be disappointed.

Since Brazil is not on the visa exemption list, all citizens of Brazil must apply for a visa in order to enter the country. You have three options to choose from: you can apply online for an e-visa (30 days, single entry) or if you want to visit Vietnam for multiple times in one moth or want to visit Vietnam for more than one month you apply online through an agent in Vietnam to request for Visa on Arrival, which is by far the most popular option amongst travelers, or you go to your nearest Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate and apply with them.

1. Electronic visa or Vietnam E-visa for Brazilian passport holders

From 01 Feb 2019, under Decision 17/2019/NĐ-CP of the Government of Vietnam, citizens of Brazil are eligible to apply online for an e-visa of Vietnam online (e-visa is a single entry valid for staying 30 days).

Brazilian passport holders, who want to visit Vietnam for less than 30 days for a single trip, can apply online for an e-visa directly at the government website https://evisa.immigration.gov.vn (please note that the fee is non-refundable if you apply your e-visa at the government website). If you want to secure your e-visa with refundable policy (100% satisfied or get back your money) you can apply your e-visa through our easy form application (filling your entry date, entry and exit port of arrival then submit your passport copy online) then we will take care the rest of procedure to get your e-visa on time as promise.

Note : if you want to visit Vietnam for multiple times in one month or want to visit Vietnam for more than one month, please choose options below :

2. Visa on Arrival (VOA) – Applying online for pre-approval then pick up your visa on arrival at the airport of Vietnam

If you live far away from the Vietnamese Embassy for example, or you do not want to send important documents such as your passport, this is the ideal option for you. To apply for a VOA, you need your computer and internet. If you get a Visa on Arrival, you are allowed to enter Vietnam through any of the 5 international airports: Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Hai Phong. You can only travel by air if you get a VOA, meaning you can’t enter Vietnam by bus, car, and so forth.

The process is very simple.  What you need to do is fill out the Online Application form with all relevant information. What you need to state in the application form is:

  • Your full name, as stated in your passport
  • Date of Birth – The format they use in Vietnam is DD/MM/YY
  • Your nationality – as stated in your passport
  • Your passport number
  • Date of Arrival – you can state a date of arrival and then arrive later, but not earlier

After you have filled this information out, you have to wait for a confirmation email which usually arrives within 1-2 working hours. Normally you will receive an Approval Letter within 2 working days. When the letter comes, don’t forget to print it out so the immigration officers in Vietnam can stamp your passport. If you need an emergency visa, you can get one within 40 minutes to 4 hours. This will cost you more money, but you will be able to get it much faster.

  • VIP Support : +US$35/pp

3. Apply for a visa through the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in Brasilia, Brazil

The reason why applying for a visa with the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate might not be recommended is because it’s not as convenient if you don’t live close to the embassy of Vietnam in Brasilia, Brazil. It means you will have to spend time on transportation and money. You also need to remember to bring all the necessary documents, such as passport, and if you happen to forget anything, you need to start the process all over again. It’s time consuming and you usually need to pick up your passport in the embassy or consulate. Also, be kindly advised that the fees and procedures are subject to change depending on where you apply.
