How to apply
Apply Vietnam visa online (Vietnam e-visa) for citizens of Croatia

Are you planning your vacation abroad but not sure where to go? Why not head over to Vietnam, one of Asia’s most popular tourist destinations, and with good reason. People come here to enjoy the tropical climate, beautiful beaches, trekking in the mountains, go kitesurfing in Mui Ne, eat delicious food that will leave them craving more and get to know the Vietnamese culture.

Vietnam has a lot to offer and perhaps that is why it is one of the most popular destinations. It is affordable as well and easy to travel around in. If you are planning on going somewhere for a longer time, this is a good choice for you. There won’t be a moment where you will feel bored – quite the opposite. Head over to the capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi, where you will find an abundance of souvenir shops, high-end stores, restaurants, cafés, bars… you name it! It is a city that never sleeps and where you will surely always find something fun to do.

If you prefer a calmer scene, travel to Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Centre that offers a more serene lifestyle. Highly popular with the crowd, but has still managed to keep its charm and small town vibe. You will also have close access to some beautiful beaches where you can relax and enjoy a cocktail by the beach.

Before you start booking your trip, as a citizen of Croatia, you are obliged to apply for a visa in order to enter the country. But rest assured, the process is both easy and affordable! You have three options to choose from:

1. Electronic visa or Vietnam e-visa for Croatian passport holders

From 01 Feb 2019, under Decision 17/2019/NĐ-CP of the Government of Vietnam, citizens of Croatia are eligible to apply online for an e-visa of Vietnam online (e-visa is a single entry valid for staying 30 days).

Croatian passport holders, who want to visit Vietnam for less than 30 days for a single trip, can apply online for an e-visa directly at the government website https://evisa.immigration.gov.vn (please note that the fee is non-refundable if you apply your e-visa at the government website).

If you want to secure your e-visa with refundable policy (100% satisfied or get back your money) you can apply your e-visa through our easy form application (filling your entry date, entry and exit port of arrival then submit your passport copy online) then we will take care the rest of procedure to get your e-visa on time as promise.

Note : if you want to visit Vietnam for multiple times in one month or want to visit Vietnam for more than one month, please choose options below :

2. Visa on Arrival (VOA) – Apply online for pre-approval then pick up visa on arrival at the airport of Vietnam

Visa On Arrival Office in Cam Ranh Int’l Airport – Khanh Hoa Provice (Nha Trang city)

This option is preferred by many foreigners who comes to Vietnam. It is easy to apply to, convenient, quick and it saves you time. You can also apply for the VOA from anywhere in the world – whether you live in Croatia or you’re based somewhere else, you just need your computer and internet. If you apply for this visa, you are allowed to enter Vietnam through any of the following international airports: Da Nang Int’l Airport in Da Nang city, Cam Ranh Int’l Airport in Khanh Hoa province (Nha Trang city), Tan Son Nhat Int’l Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, Noi Bai Int’l Airport in Hanoi city, Lien Khuong Int’l Airport in Lam Dong Province (Dalat city) and Cat Bi Int’l Airport in Hai Phong city. You can only travel by air if you get a VOA, meaning you can’t enter Vietnam by bus, car, et cetera.

The process of “visa on arrival” is easy. You only need to fill out the Online Application Form where you state your date of birth, and other information. Then you wait for a confirmation letter that will come in around 1-2 working hours. Normally you will receive an Approval Letter within 2 working days. When the letter comes, don’t forget to print it out so the immigration officers in Vietnam can stamp your passport. If by chance you need to get an emergency visa, it will cost you more money, but you will be able to get it faster. It will take from 30 minutes to 4 hours.

Also, you now have the option to buy “On Arrival Support”, which is a very good option for those who wants to check in to Vietnam faster:

  • VIP Support : +US$35/pp

Our staff will meet you in front of the “visa on arrival” desk with a welcome board, receive your passport and give it back with the visa in 5-10 minutes, then escort you to check out via the VIP gate. Please prepare 25 USD/person and give it to our staff to pay for visa stamp fee.

3. Get your visa through the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in the nearby countries of Croatia

The second option is to apply for a visa in the Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate in Croatia. The reason why this option isn’t recommended is because it’s not as convenient if you don’t live close to the embassy or consulate. It means you will have to spend time on transportation and money. You will also need to remember to bring all the necessary documents, such as passport, and if you by any chance forget anything, you need to start all over again with the process. It is time consuming and you usually need to pick up your passport in the embassy. However, this is one of the choices that you can choose from, so if you happen to prefer this option, then it is good to know that it exists.

After everything is done and your visa has been approved, your Vietnam adventure can begin! We promise you that it will be a trip you won’t soon forget.
